In episode 62, I enjoy a wonderfully inspiring and informative conversation with Geriatric Doctor, Personal Trainer and gym owner Dr Irene Tan. Irene moved from Malaysia to Australia to study year 12, and then another 12 years of study to become a Geriatrician. On her journey she became a personal trainer and part-owner of the K1 Sports Centre in Melbourne, Australia. She has lots of wisdom to share in this conversation, as we focus on what it takes to move through life with fluency, joy and longevity. This is a powerful podcast you do not want to miss.

Episode Notes

Dr Irene Tan is an incredibly humble and inspiring lady. She is an experienced doctor and qualified Geriatrician, working primarily with the more mature population. She is a personal trainer and part-owner of K1 Sports, an awesome fitness centre in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. She is incredibly passionate about helping people create optimal well-being and live a long life of joy, love and happiness.

Irene talked me into doing one of her Barre classes, and, not being one to shy away from adventure, I gave it a go. I have since done several Barre classes with Irene, and I have got to know her very well. She is a doctor and business owner who loves people and spend her life helping them move with more fluency. In this podcast we discuss holistic physical activity and the different ways we should incorporate movement into our lives.

Whilst the conversation is focused around exercise and physical activity, you will be inspired by the ideas and concepts discussed by Irene. Really, the message is about how to be proactive, take control and move through our lives to ensure we enjoy longevity, happiness and fulfillment. This is a fun, inspiring and powerful podcast you do not want to miss.
