The Wellness Puzzle Podcast

Radical generosity

Episode Summary

In episode 128, I speak with international speaker, author, and the radically generous, Bob DePasquale. Bob had a terrible experience with life-threatening illness and terrorism at age 18. It took months to recover physically and mentally, but years to find himself emotionally. Since that time, Bob has dedicated his life using what he has for good. Bob believes everyone has gifts and skills to make the world a better place and that we should be radically generous with what have in order to improve the lives of others. This is a powerful and inspiring conversation that should not be missed.

Episode Notes

Bob DePasquale is a purpose driven Impact-maker.  He believes that everyone has the ability to make a positive impact in our world.  When Bob was 18, he moved to NY for college.  While in football training camp, and just 5 days before September 11th 2001, he was diagnosed with cancer.  In a very short period of time, his young, healthy life was turned upside down.  He was forced to shift his focus to treating an extremely aggressive form of a terrible disease and coping with the effects of the recent terrorist attacks.  Miraculously, he was physically healed in just 4 months.  But mentally, it took years.

It wasn't until Bob identified his purpose that he realized the value of his battle with cancer and his family's losses on 9/11/01.  Bob's mission is to make the world a better place by encouraging people to find the blessings in tragedy and use their gifts to help others. He had radical generosity exampled to him, and so decided to give it a go himself, and it changed his world. He now works with people to help them create an abundance mindset and give even when it seems hard.

Bob now serves as the Founder of Initiate Impact Virtual Family offices - a wealth management firm dedicated to radical generosity. He also hosts the Speaking of Impact and Modern Legacies podcasts.. This is an inspiring conversation not to be missed.
